Latest Straight Shave Feature Article
Gentlemen,
Among other magazine articles, occasionally I write a feature on traditional shaving for the general public. Here is the latest. I wrote it several months ago and it just came out. Thanks. Enjoy.

So, Obie, does the paper get any letters to the editor asking who this crazy old geezer is who is writing these crazy articles about straight shaving?

Hello, thebigspendur,
Interestingly enough, the magazine has received a surprisingly positive response from readers. I think that's why they have continued the series. I am meeting with my editor after thanksgiving to discuss another articles. These are fun to write, I must admit. In their own little way, they also promote the word — and every word counts. Stay well.

Thanks Obie, I enjoyed the very well written article. Though I wonder how the average reader will react to "a modest collection of 30 straight razors" ? We know it is perfectly logical but the non initiated .... ? Cool to hear that you were the voice of classical music as a host on the radio in Milwaukee. A multi faceted man of many talents.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 40Obie
Enjoyed the article as I enjoy your interviews. The article gives a great description of the art of wet shaving with just enough intrigue to bring more into the fold. I think there are a lot of shavers who are looking for something better but don't know what that is. With your help and this forum we can educate them one shaver at a time. Cheers
