Thread: Evening Shave Convert

I too shave at night after years of morning shaves. I decided I much prefer to shave late in the day and take my time and relax with it. Weekends I shave in the morning or day but I don't have to get my lad ready for school and pack lunches and things then.

Personally I find nothing beats going to bed freshly shaved and showered ready for a good nights sleep!

I love my night shaves!! I work in theatre so it's lot of nights and not being a morning person I love coming home after a show and unwinding with a hot shower and shave! I've done 1 morning shave and it just felt wrong to me!

i love my night shaves during the week and on Sunday, but some Fridays and Saturdays i switch it up to a morning shave.. never noticed it until recently but i enjoy being clean and fresh when going to sleep, i know my wife appreciates it... my night shaves are closer to 11PM than 7PM though. I can pretty much take all the time i need.

Always been an evening shaver here..relaxes me before bed. I enjoy the ritual a lot especially since I'm a ritualistic person.

I actually shaved Sunday morning this week and it felt too odd. Never again!

I too fall in the not a morning guy category....If I do shave in the morning I have to use my fat boy, I take way to long with my straights lol.

My beard grows pretty quick. Straight razor shaving in the morning was the first time my 5 O'clock shadow actually made it to 5:00 pm.

However, all your posts will have me trying tonight.

The worst outcome would be that I get to use my Straight Razors at night then use my DE in the morning.

Hold on, that means that I can try twice as many shaving products! Woo... Hooo!!!!

Being a begginer I really enjoy the evening shave. There is no need to rush and for me the evening shave is taking on a zen like experience.
Thought I was very much in the minority but looks like I was wrong.

I have always enjoyed shaving with my straight in the evening. Not only does it allow me more time to go slowly and get the best shave, but in the morning after my shower, you can still smell just enough of my aftershave to be pleasant without being overpowering.

You just may find something that works better than what you were doing.
