    Default A strange new question

Okay, I don't think I've seen this question before. What is your favorite amount of stubble to shave? Short of shaving the beard off, there's nothing like a good three day stubble in my opinion. Whip up a good lather, grab a good sharp blade and have at it. The sound of the whiskers being cut is like music to my ears as I said the only thing more fun is shaving off an entire beard so anyone else have a preference? It's a strange question but I don't think I've seen it before, anyone?

I love to shave everyday. So I rarely shave thick stubble. I will have to let it grow for a bit and try it. I have skipped a day before but it wasnt much more stubble.

A 2 or 3 day stubble for me is good. Can't shave everyday, sensitive skin, so I really enjoy gettin to it after a little hiatus. Besides that I grew a beard for a while this winter for duck hunting, and it was awesome to be able to shave it off with the straight. Way easier than with a DE, disposable, or electric.

If I could man up to it, I would grow a full beard just to shave it off again, but I rarely make it past three days at the most before it gives me the...Well you know what I mean. I shaved off the goatee once. Won't let that happen again. I'm gonna have to try harder for a longer growth, because there is just something about taking off facial hair that would send other razors (or your face) to the grave, that really sends a sense of satisfaction right through ya.

It was months after taking up SR shaving that I ever had more than one day's growth. Lately, I've been able to go several days without a shave. I do like shaving a few days' growth; but rarely can I go without shaving...

24 hours rest isn't enough since I go at it so aggressively, just not a lot of hair to remove. Perfect world is 36 hours growth and 48 hours is too long to go without a shave, but comes off nicely

4 days growth is what I like to shave best but its rare that I can hold out that long for a shave. Its the straight Razor curse , first you discover how much you like shaving with a straight, then you find out that your beard grows back much slower...SMH

The wife hated it, plus it kept getting in the way when eating. I could not justify the expense to SWMBO for a quality wax instead of the cheap stuff I was using it.

Two to three days - vanquish those whiskers and feel like a new man!
