I have to second those that have asked, as I did earlier, posting ID info sure as heck alleviates doubts of your veracity and intent. Continually avoiding and sidestepping these simple requests gives nothing but mistrust and suspicion of ill intent and can lead one to consider you nothing more than a miscreant troll charlatan.

Basically, if we know you and can learn from your alleged expertise, admire your collection and add to our own data base of knowledge through non boastful statements and interchanges then you would be a hale fellow well met person.

I am happy to introduce myself in the beginner forum. Again, apologies if I can't across the wrong way. I've never posted on a forum before and just happened to come across this post topic so thought I'd contribute which I did before realising how old the original post is. So I didn't realise I had to introduce myself in a beginners forum first, sorry.

Gugi, you really need to drop the unnecessary attitude mate, there's no need for it. If I came across as too direct, I'm sorry, the reason I laid it straight was to fast forward all my facts (blade quality, experience etc) so I we didn't have to waste time theorising about the possible reasons for my experience as I've had those discussions with untold people before so wanted to get straight to the chase, but anyway.

Outback, thank you for understanding my point about the practicality of a shorter blade in a mature way.
