Shaving Videos for a Beginner
I thought I would put some shaving videos together and hopefully they will be of some use, especially for beginners. The first video shows how to create a lather and how to strop a razor. The second part shows a two-pass shave. The intent for the videos is for beginners, so I really don't go into advanced shaving techniques. Trying to keep it simple for those just getting started with straight razors. I'll apologize up front for the quality of the second video; I didn't realize it would be so blurry.

That's very nice, thanks for making the videos.
I'm sure a lot of people will find them very useful.
It's always fun to see how other people do their shaving routine.

Thanked: 993Great videos!
I really liked the part when you did your neck. The angle that you caught yourself with the camera allowed us to see the orientation of the razor against your neck, and the angle. I thought that was excellent, because the neck so often is difficult. It also can pose problems because it's more difficult to see the angle of the razor compared to when it's on the side of your face.
You did a wonderful job showcasing the how and why of razor angles.
Thank you.
