Best shavette/ feather/ straight for neck hair that grows west to east?

Hi guys,

I'm realy enjoying DE shaving these days, and think I've settled on what works best. I'd like to go back to straights, but found the neck area to be too hard to shave because my hair growth is side to side.

Is there a straight, possibly shavette,youd suggest for this/ Any of you with the same issue? I've had good shaves on my face with a straight, but the neck gets irritation because its really hard to shav with the grain for the first pass. I thought maybe a shavette because of the shortness of the blade. I also wet shave for the financial aspects, so Id preffer to stay away from the Japanese straights....$$$

I'm more than happy shaving with a DE. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
