So, I was honing my first razor today. Got a package from Vintage Blades . Anyway, got my 'practice razor' sort of up and running. So I started to test shave it with my arm hairs. Well before you know it I shaved a good portion of the arm hair away. I guess this was in excitement. I mean I got an old beat up razor to shave away hair. Ok, not that big of a deal but I am noob. Its the small things in life that make you happy. Anyway, I decided that a big patch of skin did not look right so continued to shave the entire arm with my new DOVO. Then I had to whack away the hair on my other arm. So I decided, what the heck keep on going....Worked out OK in the end. BBS legs and chest!

lol i did the same thing when i was messing around with a friend's disposable fromm straight razor...just got bored and started shaving. Next thing you know, I had one bare arm. then two. I stopped while I was ahead, but i know how ya feel haha

Great topic, it just reminded me that I had a pressing shave question to ask. And it seems that this is an appropriate place to do it!!
Watching shaving on You tube(slow day). Came up with a couple of oriental Barber Shop shave videos where the FOREHEAD was lathered and shaved. Two different videos, two different barber shops.
The whole forehead ... ? Any idea why??

I am reading a book right now about World War II. It doesn't say why, but they had one of the American POWs shave the Japanese guards. They wanted their foreheads shaved too. I thought it was a little odd as well.
