Not related to shaving, but I was sanding the rust an tarnish off of a Rodgers and sons blade and in my laziness I didn't secure it on a bench... This is the result. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363685719.178649.jpg

2 closure strips and quite a lot of blood... Lesson learned. But the blade cleaned up nicely!

This was the first time I've tried to clean up an eBay find, looks like I need to be more prepared next time... Are those the gloves from a shark suit??

Those crazy shark divers use something else, none of these are really good against teeth.
I've used them inside my D3A gloves, kind of suprices people when they pull out a knife and you immediately grip the blade and either break it or pull it out of their hand.
Now days they serve as hand protection when polishing and such, feels better to know the few fingers I've got left will stay on.

The one on the right is the one that feels best to wear under leather gloves, but the Kevlar makes them cold in winter and none of them is puncture/stab proof, so take care!

    Sorry for this off topic....
