I'm with you on the mustache. I've had mine for around 45 years. if it ever came off I'd be like a rookie trying to figure out how to shave that area.
I do my lower lip by going S-N and keeping the skin really tight. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

I'm getting better each shave, last night only had a couple soldiers standing at attention.
Yup, mustache has to stay. My bride (of 38 years) saw an old photo of me with no lip fur and told me that she would divorce me if I ever shaved it off . . . that's enough incentive for me.
Any day on this side of the flowers is a good day!

Thanked: 2My NaturalPass(tm) for this spot is down, followed by a downward sloping cross stroke from each side. I stretch the area by curing my lip over my teeth (keeps my tongue out of the mix).

Thanked: 4+1, the scything is what manages to fell those hairs right on the lip line for me. Still getting comfortable with it. It goes against what I first took to be the golden-rule of shaving -- never "slide" the blade sideways! Seems you have to know when to bend the rules, and by how much.
