Well, after a number of weeks shaving daily with a straight I finally decided to give ATG another bash for the second time. This time though I watched a few videos focusing on what I struggled with my first time (read grip ).

So a second attempt at ATG and a first for a full 3 pass shave. Worked a treat! Very happy with the results, there is room for improvement but for a first try I was pleased. Pretty smooth all over especially the spots that didn't quite shave as well when I only went WTG.

HOWEVER … I did have one issue that I am keen to get advice from the more seasoned members, I struggled to improve the shave of the (point?) of my chin. Basically where the jaw line is but just the chin area, where it changes from the front of your face to rolling in under your neck, I seem to have a line of beard just along that ridge that didn't get as smooth as the rest. So any tips on what to do? I am guessing it is just getting the right blade angle over that change in direction, is this right? Or is there more to it?

TIA

Luke
