riooso, I have read many of your responses in threads. Are you someone that demands the best for him? In other words, is BBS what you are looking for?
If so, you are a lucky man being able to shave daily and get a BBS daily . Impossible for me.

Thanked: 109I can get bbs everytime and shave twice a day. It just takes great effort to every bit of stubble gone. If I wait a couple of days it all comes off like rinsing lather.
YMMV
It just keeps getting better

Thanked: 267Unfortunately I do have a "touch", a "touch" mind you, of OCD!
I demand the best that I can accomplish that works for me from honing and shaving to everyday life. Not perfect but eventually one just has to let it go.
BBS almost every day with some incredible tools that I have been very fortunate to acquire with the help and guidance of the guys on this forum.
Yes, I feel fortunate!
Take Care,

Thanked: 1195The best way to look at it is that longer stubble provides more for the razor to "catch". You'll also find that less whiskers will be missed by the razor (meaning the razor gliding over short stubble), which will also result in an overly smoother shave.

After 3 days, the whiskers seem softer, the blade a little sharper, the lather a little creamier, the music a little more dreamy, and I swear I look a little more handsome. After 3 days, I can't wait to shave.

I talked this over with Jeff (MVCrash) not too long ago. We discussed why a beard gets thicker and easier to shave after two or more days.
We pretty much agreed that after 24 hours you are only slicing off the wedge shaped tips of the hairs. It's easier to miss them or make a bad cut. After two days the hairs have grown out and you are cutting across the full width of the hairs. They are more stable, and meet the blade at a better angle which leads to a clean cut at skin level.
This made much sense to me.

Thanked: 4I reckon that the lather gives some support to the hair as the blade sweeps through it. Longer whisker = more support? Like a piece of rope held by both ends is easier to cut than when held by just one end.

My facial hair doesn't grow back as fast or thick as other people. I think that's why I can get a better shave with three or four days growth compared to shaving the next day.
