Fascinating! I usually shave my forehead after the top of my feet.

All this time I have completely forgotten to shave the hair on the back of my ear lobes. I blush!

I think it is safe to assume this guy was pretty smooth afterward.

If you need a gauge for peak sharpness, buy a feather straight, use it for a while, and then sell it. It will give you an idea of what you can do with a sharp razor.

As you get more experience, you should have enough touch to pull any straight razor from top to bottom, though if your hair is really thick, a heavier razor will make it so that you have to pay less attention doing it. BUT, you could do it with a lightweight 5/8 cmon no matter who you are, unless it's just not sharp enough.

My razor is definitely sharp enough LOL. Rodb honed and sold the razor to me. He's very good at it I actually have two from him. Ones actually a near wedge Sheffield. Nice heavier one, but pretty old and a tad aged. Could use some nice new scales and a bit of polishing.

What also makes it hard is my large and cut jaw line and butt chin. So many angles... Even around my mouth and under my nose is very angular. I usually nick myself right under my nostrils cuz my nose blocks/won't allow a shallow angle there.
