Well said Mephisto. I would imagine keywords such as " almost brand new" and "only used once" will likely be included in those future ebay listings. I often see such listings locally on craigslist and kijiji, razor, strop and all.

I just posted a comment at The Economist, and put our URL there. Let's be sure to be nice to all the guys who come here having seen the movie. The ones who care enough to do the research that leads them here will have a better-than-average chance of sticking with it. I just hope they come here BEFORE buying a Kriegar or other such garbage.
My wife has never been impressed by my shaving ability. (Or lack of at times).
Razors for her need to be multi bladed and in a colour of light blue or pink plastic.
Just piggy-backed on your comment as well roughkype. There sure were some ignorant comments made I think.

I saw it the first week it came out here in the UK (last week of October).
The straight razor scene was probably the highlight of the film for me. The black-coloured shaving bowl was weird. I can only think that must have been Eucris. Granted, I can see why people are talking about the blade. All I managed to pick up was that it had three pins.
Surprised though that people are saying the brush was boar. To me it looked quite large, so I wonder if it was a BK8 or something like that.
Still, well worth watching this film especially if you are an SRP member/fan!!
I was paying close attention this time (we have $3 tuesday at the theatre in town) and I think that this blade may have been a Dovo. During the scene when Ms. Moneypenny is holding the razor you can catch a glimpse of some etching (to be honest it looks like the warning label that come on Dovo's brand new).
Show you how sick I am...
When I went to the movies a few weeks ago, I decided to see "Lincoln" instead of "Skyfall" because I assumed there was a better chance of seeing some straight razor action in "Lincoln". The movie had already started when I arrived at the theater, so I saw "Skyfall" instead. Great surprise to see Bond wielding a straight razor.
