Thread: Blade Lather removal

I rinse my blade tilted down under running hot water until the lather is gone. I do not let the water get too close to the scales, never into the pivot. If the lather does not come off the blade fast, it is too dry and I rehydrate/relather my face. This keeps the hairs soft and easy to cut. I do my final rinse a bit longer to get the blade hot, wipe with a tissue, and set on the counter while I cleanup. I then strop 30 linen and 60 latigo, examin the razor, and store in a pen display case. Carbon blades that will not be used again within a day or so get wiped with a Camellia oiled patch.

Blade Lather removal
I usually just run it under warm water when the lather builds up, then when I'm done I take the time for a good cleaning

Re: Blade Lather removal
I wipe the blade with my finger then wipe the lather on the sink (saw it in a barber video).
I once chipped my filarmonica rinsing it with water, that won't happen again.
