My first BBS shave with a straight razor***wow***
Guys i am so excited today as i got my first BBS shave with my Dovo special.
After practicing for about one month using the tricks of the trade to this straight razor journey that i learned here from you guys and some other forums, today it worked.
I took a little longer than usual (45 minutes) but i did it.
Went 2 times WTG and then 2 times XTG AND WOW.
There was a little stubble under my neck left but everywhere else was as smooth as my double edge shaving.
I thought that it would be impossible for me to ever get a bbs shave with a straight but practice and hanging in there is the key just as you always say.
Man, i am so excited, and i also feel gooooooood after that.
It feels like a whole new world when you accomplish a great shave with a blade.
My usual stuff:
Stropped well.
Made a watery lather with Tabac soap
First pass was at a small angle(like 5 degree angle)
and then pulling the skin and gliding the blade away.
Man can't wait for tomorrow.*****HAVE A GREAT SHAVE*****

Congrats! It's a nice feeling isn't it? I've been at this a year now and I still get a nice feeling from a really good shave or hitting some milestone I've been after.

Congrats on the shave. They will continue to get better as time and experience march on.
