Yeah man, It's a great shaver!

    No backsies!
Through the mud and the blood, to the green fields beyond.

What isn't shown on the video is my prep.
HOT shower, Shampoo and conditioner (beard)
    Proraso pre-shave.

I used an uber lather of Mitchels wool fat, TOBS Almond and 6 drops glycerine.

I had my scuttle pre-heating while I showered, so the lather was nice and hot!

Razor was Tuckmar 5/8 round point gifted to me by brooksie.

Here is the link to the vid. Sorry about all the unnessasary stuff. I was going
to edit it etc, but my computer is terrible and I didn't want to wait 5+hours
for it to compile the vid.

Thank you for your video! I'm relatively new to straight shaving and can use watching some more videos. I really liked how easily the whiskers were brushed off your face, I have yet to match that. And I liked your asymmetrical second pass, now I know I'm not the only one that cannot shave both sides of his face in the same manner.

+1 :-) I've been at this for a year and still benefit greatly from watching videos of other people's techniques. Thanks for that. (I'm also somewhat asymmetrical on my technique - whatever works).

Brooksie you pansy! If I had have followed this thread and had known you piked early... Man, I feel cheated! I read this when you first posted and told myself, "You know ya gonna fail Mick, so don't mention a thing to Brooksie or anyone else. Just have a go and see how long you last."
Well, I certainly outlasted you! Hell, I even went a couple of days longer than ironsidegnr. But none of that matters, because my damn beard was so bloody grey, I looked like some old homeless bloke. It was depressing to have the visual of how old I'm getting.
No I don't have photo's of the progress. Like I said, I knew I would fail the whole month stiplation, so I didn't bother. It was a good feeling knocking it all off though. I used my OCD Custom 8/8 for the task and it felt good to be young(er) again .

The grey beard is the reason i shave nearly everyday.... if my hair was as grey as my beard i would shave my head and people would just think i was balding

    enjoy,

I wish this would work the other way around, then i would dye my hair gray so it wouldn't look like i was balding

Don't get me wrong mate, I understand you have a job to do, but that won't stop me from taking the p!ss! It's just the done thing around my part of the world. Never let a reasonable excuse get in the way of giving someone a hard time, especially when it is a time of tragedy. The dark sense of humour that seems to be inherent in many Australians .
