Thanked: 116I don't think we can 'try' to win any of the categories but if there was one titled 'most arabic' my wife would vote for me all day long... she's cruel.
I don't know of anyone using weaves or patches but Lance Armstrong didn't get caught until after what... 7 tour de frances? I'm all about natural, legitimate beard growing and frown upon any beard enhancing products. The use of these really ruins the sport of beard growing for us purists out there.

Thanked: 247Dang dude! You have some dark growth.
I would win the pathetic beard for sure. My growth is dirty blond and requires weeks to show up as anything other than filth.

Thanked: 1185I'm with you brother, when I first retired from the military a razor didn't touch my face for nearly two years. Then I discovered the proper way to shave and have seldom missed a day since. My beard isn't patchy or ugly mind you, I can grow a really nice beard but like you, if I skip a couple days I feel like I'm completely filthy and not in any condition to be around people. Funny, when I left the military, I told myself since I don't have to shave I'm never gonna. How times change.
The older I get, the better I was

I think that I could beat you but without using my wife's hair coloring it wouldn't show up in a picture!
Although I could be cheating because yesterdays shave was not BBS!
Seriously I measured after a weeks vacation and I am in the "NORMAL" range for hair growth. I wouldn't win any contest. When I told my wife this she almost called Social Services and had me committed!

Thanked: 1The very first time I used a straight, I shaved off six months worth of beard. It went pretty well. But then again I grow in six months what others grow in two weeks.

Fair play to you for doing this I have tried a couple of times to grow a beard and 8 days is the longest I went before I felt nasty and also I was looking like a hobo

So that's what you guys in the cold north do when cabin fever sets in , and you're running low on alcohol . Sounds like a fun thing to do . I want to see pics at the end of the month ! BTW , is it true , that when the temp drops below freezing , you guys start wearing long sleeve shirts ? Inquiring minds want to know .
Greetings , from Dundalk , Maryland . The place where normal people , fear to go .

Thanked: 116When the snow blocks the roads and we can't get to the liquor store it's time to get into the moonshine. It's also true that we wear long sleeve shirts, yes. On top of that, here in Nova Scotia, when the Bay of Fundy freezes we all like to partake in the seal hunt. Caution must be taken however because this allows the polar bears from New Brunswick to cross on the sea ice and inhabit our area.
Pics will be updated daily
