Sounds like RAD to me. You've just convinced yourself it's a need for a shorter blade . I'm not vertically challanged, nor do I feel my face is anything other than someting on the ugly side of average, but I still feel like the blade takes up a large portion of my facial area. Certainly it isn't overlapping my nose when I'm shaving my cheek, but it is capable of doing over 3/4 in one pass if it weren't for a hollow spot and a narrow, flat plane moving out to a long, gentle slope towards my nose . You do get used to it mate, but don't let me talk you out of that new razor you want .
