Thread: Hints for Shaving, from the Sacramento Union 1890.

I started this morning by shaving with some tabac and then leaving the brush in a mug. The brush was LOADED with soap as if I threw it down mid shave.
Tomorrow when I shave, no soaking the brush, just wetting the puck of soap again.

I will continue this for a week.

My pictures belie how much lather is in the brush, it too is packed, I just drew it through a circle like an OK sign with my fingers to get it skinnier. I normally shave every other day, but I'm wondering if, for research purposes, I should go to every day? Also, my brush is hanging up, I'll keep it like that throughout for controlled results.

Im very interested to see your findings. The brush Im using is a cheap bristle brush from crabtree and evelyn. I just threw it in a mug with soap. Hahaha
