Thread: First shave with my Feather Artist Club SS

I have used my Feather SS every now and then for a year, always with the Pro-Guard blades. I have all the other blades but my results with these have been so good that I haven't tried the others. I put in a new blade last Thursday and gave it a try being somewhat fearful of the newness of the blade and their reputation for being unforgiving. I purposely went very light with the strokes, trying to get a shave with no scrapes or nicks. The result was probably the best shave I've ever had, and I've had a succession of very good ones. When I smoothed the Nivea balm all over my face I could feel nothing but smooth skin. It was pretty darn impressive. It almost felt like cheating. No effort was required other than seemingly just wiping the lather off my face, and the shave was as good as I think I can get.
