Actually, I don't use any aftershave. Not even for my face. I much prefer moisturizer. I ask my friends wives and girlfriends which they prefer, and try those. My favorite so far has been Oil of Olay regenerist. Now its not just my face that looks younger and smoother.

Hypothetically speaking, it should work; haven't tried this myself (I don't quite have the body to be hairless). I would probably pat dry instead of a vigerous towel dry. If it were me, I would take your DE with you into the shower (not under the water mind you, put the showerhead down), soak for a bit and then go to work, using the water to rinse the hair as you go. I would use a creme-type shaving lotion as it tends not to fall off as easy in the shower. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I might try it with my Parker Shavette in the future.

You've got to be careful around your knees and elbows.

Now, as far as your area below the belt, I would not recommend a de. You really need a flat surface. I would personally get a disposable with a pivoting head. Ymmv.
Yea do be careful shaving the knee area I have a nice big scare behind my left knee from shaving my legs with a straight.
May seem weird for me to shave their but the nice soft brush feels so nice on the skin.

The splashing and dripping all go right down the tub, and when finished, I can just take a quick rinse.
Can a DE razor shave a month's old body hair, or it is better to trim it first?
