After we decided to have kids we weighed up whether to stay in UK, or move here where my wife's family are, whilst stokie was great for a couple with no kids, we didn't want to raise a family that close to the murder mile. We knew that we wanted to live out of London, either Kent or Gloucestershire, where I spent my teens, but financially it wouldn't be feasible. So we moved to perth about 6 1/2 yes ago, again a weigh up between my wifes family in Perth or friends in Melbourne, I think she thinks we made the wrong choice, but there you go.
