This is not intended in any way to be remarkable. It's just a real time demo of a guy shaving while his son watches and video records.

I fully intend to educate my three sons as much as they desire with regard to shaving. My father was a great man, but taught me almost nothing about shaving. I owe this forum for what I learned. No offense, but I want my boys to learn from me

This is very typical for shave time. When I shave my whole face, it takes a little longer, but not much. The results of this shave were pretty good (DFS but not BBS everywhere).

Thanks unit, I will have a squiz later, my father wasn't around, so he taught me nothing at all, the internet has been a useful surrogate with regards to learning to shave, I think I have previously described this site a collection of kindly uncles before. However first hand teaching will always be better.

For me a two pass WTG / ATG is about five minutes of shave time. With lather making and cleanup the whole affair rarely takes more than 10 minutes.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Default how long does it take you to shave?

7 min 45 sec according to my iPhone. I have a video to prove it. That is one pass with some cleanup around my chin.

10 min prep..hot towels only, no pre-shave; 5 min lathering and strop, 15 min for shave...WTG, XTG X 2; 5 min for clean-up...post shave, alum, balm, razor cleaning.

So, :35 minutes because I'm not adept enough yet at str8's for a faster time.

If I'm ever in a hurry, I shave with the DE, not even tempted to use the str8.

Don't stress, someone said he was German, though I don't know, also when watching the vid look at the baby being passed around I Think that bit didn't look right, kind of jerky or something, definately think it is sped up.
