Coming soon : not a shaving set but a writing one I just fell in love with on the bay :

It will get along surprisingly well with my shaving travel set : same type, color, same inkpot..

    I'm really happy !

    Thanks !

The ones I kept (for now) :

    *The Pradier and Elliot carved
*The Holtzapffel tortoise (but I'm going to change the blade)
*My vintage travel set (with the London's J. Dobby and silver-plated travel badger)
    *My ivory disposable pair
*My kabylians, african, and my kamisori
*My pair of MK Heljestrand n°30 tortoise
*My french Saccard silver and tortoise
    *My Boker
    *The P. Norris antique
*My new travel set and my writing set

The others were sold or traded (or not received yet, like the MOP one).

    Got several new blades :

    French false frameback

Working on a tail-less pair for my new travel set (hand-made boxwood scales, it has to be finished yet, and the second scales to be made for the second blade)

A pair of two very old french guys.

And several fists of razors to be restored !

Amazing. Thaeris. I´m walking to sell all my non subtailed razors, unless one or two that I reserv by personal motivs and because I use them But If somebody want to grow his collection in order is impossible for me learn about all, Because I put the limit in 1800 more or less Is imposible to confirm it, you know, My last is the ones you saw the "WOLF" ones, The petty is that actually in my country, mainly because novody can sell razors, people make lots to get a price in reason, and if you want to get a primitive straigt one you sure must to carry with six or seven not too interesting, and often broken. Well 100 euros for 7 razors is not too much, but only one of them is interesting for me, rest coul be good, I don´t know, but rubish for me, and I´m gettin a box filled of forgotten razors..... but payed razors tath is worse... Amaizin collection. I´m waiting for a model into this forum to pin an article with fotografs, not to put one for one. Maybe because I was archeologist in the past, wen money were used for humanities too, not only to get the new atomic bomb, or biologig...., regards and congratulations

I don't know the maker There's a punch on the head (which I think is sterling), but too small for me to see anything..

The other parts of the brush are made of silver platted coper

I add it to my travel toilet set, which already had silver plated and carved lids.

It's my favorite brush (with the last one on the right), but I don't want to use it too much.

Yours is truly splendid ! I was stunned by it when you posted a shave of the day with you old incrusted tortoise pair !

For my badgers, the first is my dad's badger, and the first one I ever used, omega with silk. The second is my godfather's father's one. Very smooth, silk again.

The third one is a collectable one, vintage travel brush in black horn and badger. The fourth is my restored travel brush, for my "luxury travel set", in finest badger.

The fifth is a vintage chrome badger, found like this for about 10$... I keep it in my Truefitt & Hill trousse.

The sixth is a Vie-Long horse and boar, which used to be my everyday's badger, and the last one is a home-made emailed brush made by a friend of mine, Vicfactory, who works in Belgium. A real artist of the pottery and enamels ! In black badger. A real pleasure to use it (and more because I designed it and ask for this color. I love it !)
