I believe what you have there is called a Gillette "New" long comb. Try doing some searches on that to confirm. I actually have one just like it, and I think it shaves great! I don't use it all that often as I try to use a SR as often as possible, and I'm still making my way through a blade sampler. So far, I like the Merkur blades, but I haven't yet tried the Astras (I've heard great things about the Astras in combination with this razor).

Yours looks to be in really nice shape; all the plating looks to be intact in the pics, which is not always the case. Good find!
