There is no letter & number on the bottom of the head or anywhere else.
So it should fall in the date range
I stand corrected on the model,,,it does appear to be an Aristocrat,,,I finally got my images right,,,
Thank you,,Last edited by Hirlau; 11-05-2013 at 03:54 PM. Reason: Wrong Model

IIRC a Senator is an open comb ? It looks like an Aristocrat to me too. IIRC the Aristocrat made immediately after WWII does not have a date code. May have been '47 or '48. There is one alternative model that I can't recall the name of, but it came later and would have the date code under the plate. Nice find one way or the other. I have a couple of those and love the way they shave. Not mild but not too aggressive either ...... just right.

Thanks Jimmy & kcb5150,,,I just confirmed with others for sale that it is an Aristocrat.
I'm embarrassed that I got it wrong, after spending 45 minutes confirming the model before I opened the thread.
My Bad,,,as the kids say.

No worries about the mistake. You got yourself my favorite of the older TTO's the Aristocrat. I am sure you are going to enjoy many great shaves with that beauty.
