Marsh Brothers & Co. Ponds Works Sheffield blade. Picked this up a few years ago, bout to polish her up. Don't know much about the company. Blade is 13/16. Sadly the nice light colored horn was in bad shape.

Cleaning up easier than expected....600 grit since post earlier. Cold weather = not a lot of haircuts = lots of polish time lol

Soak those scales in some neatsfoot oil

Nah they are broken chipped and bug eaten...ill probably try and find a similar replacement though.

Anyone got info on the maker and or time period?

Horn is super easy to work with and can be sometimes crazy cheap, at least I think so, to moderately priced.

Awesome, what is the best way to purchase it? Do you buy a full horn then cut and flatten it with steam or something to that effect. Any good links to a page that gives good info would be great, gonna be my first full restore

Also, whats the best place to buy rivet hardware for the money, and time period rivets?

Most often I get them 2x6x 1/8. There are an Ebay store Abalone beads, Abalone shell items in Beads Plus More store on eBay! as well as http://www.masecraftsupply.com/servlet/StoreFront There are several ways of doming washers and stacking washers and fancy washers.

Thanks Rez very helpful. Razor is ready for scales now, little patina around the tang area by I can live with it, gonna do some ordering now!

First full restore, can't wait to put this old girl to use!
