Thread: Gillette NEW common bar handle (long open comb) gold plate

I hear such great things about these, I decided to try one out. I took my time and watched eBay until I found one with the handle intact (no cracking). My only other DE is a Merkur 37C Slant-Bar, and I thought this would be a good complement: less aggressive but not unresponsive; open comb rather than safety bar; gold plate rather than chrome; vintage rather than new production.

And of course, it arrives right after I've had a shave! I guess that's what tomorrow is for…
