Not me! I like the wood.
Besides, a cannon like this needs all the weight it can get!

Holy crap!
Looks like a cannon firing
No. Just 7.62x54 Russian. That and pic is at dusk it seems.
Broad daylight it is only about 2 feet wide and long.
The Russian Mosin. For when you want to kill one person in a room, set the other 5 on fire, and deafen everyone in the next room!
:rofl2:
Serious fun at the range!
Whatever! It''s McNasty. Touch over 30.06 in a 40 inch rifle. Kicks marvelously!
Men shot man-sized bullets back then.
That shot is there as any high-powered projectile is spent.
Just need to capture it right. Given right circumstances.
Nuff-said! ;)

Yes, short barreled carbine rifles using full sized 30 cal rounds do have a bit of a kick to them. The Ruger bolt action mannlicher stocked carbine in 308 Win I had wasn't too bad and did not have a huge muzzle flash when using a faster burning ball powder. The small ring Brno Mauser action 1/2 stocked carbine 7x57 was a real joy to carry and shoot also. The same rifle in 8X57 was getting on to be more of a hand full. Got to love carbines.
