Ordered some WSP Rustic Shaving Soap in pumpkin spice and sandalwood. Thought I would be festive for fall with the pumpkin spice. ;)
Sorry forgot to reply in this forum, last week arrived:
Kanayama Cordovan leather strop 8000.
As lots of good reviews, i will say just few things: amazing quality, and if someone will tryi it, i bet that person will love it. Price is high, but quality is matching it.Attachment 181314Attachment 181315
That is a good looking strop.
As for me, Ebay is threatening to send me a $9.00 razor I bid on. After looking at the pictures, it looks like the blade may be cracked :(
Here's hoping it was either bad photography or that I get outbid in the final moments.
Worst case scenario, I get a cheap blade to either destroy or fully restore. Also, the scales look pretty nice.
Let you know tomorrow.
You should be able to retract that bid if you do not wish to bid on it anymore. I've done it many times. That or send the seller a message & ask them to remove your bid but it is easier to just retract the bid yourself by going to "help". Next go to the A-Z section in the help section. Go the he "B"'s & look up bid removal or bid retraction. There will be a link there but you will need to copy the item number so that when you click on that link, it will ask you for the item number for he item you want to remove the bid. Enter it & it will give you three options & just pick one. I always pick the one that says "entered wrong amount" , click submit & you're done.
I have a 13/16 Wedge CH Sheehan and a 63 Hadoson SR both on the way.
I need to stop buying stuff.
Here's the list of whats in the mail right now.
Two Thuringian hones from Hatzicho in Germany. A yellow/green combo stone and a dark blue stone. Both came from the Steinach/Sonneberg quarry in Thuringia. Apparently Escher used this quarry before 1920.
3- 38x45mm horn rods from Robsbits
3 pcs of M3 Mokume gane billets. Lapis, smoke/gold, and cobaltium.
2 polly pearl rods, butterscotch and butterscotch pearl.
3 pcs of Recon stone for brush handles, dragon skin, ivory, Turquoise web
I think that's it...might change in a couple hours....
I'm waiting on a Japanese super finishing sharpening stone (4000-10000)
Waiting on a new bevel setter; Chosera 1K. I've been using a Norton.... Finally time to try out the chosera....
