Thread: Dubl Duck Seal Skin Strop

Before we start lamenting the demise of the poor little seal ........ note that "Imported Shell" is embossed under the image of the seal at the top of the strop. Last time I looked shell was defined as horsehide. So whether the 'sealskin' is marketing hype or the real deal is questionable AFAIC. Cool strop though, dubl duck didn't put their name on anything that wasn't first quality and this strop is no exception.

Hahaha, how else would you dress your seal skin strop other than seal blubber?!

I wonder if you have to use fish oil to keep the bark going....

Great white sharks put nicks in these strops if you arent careful as well I hear

It would appear that if nothing else it is at least a great conversation piece to have around...

Maybe they only use juvenile delinquent seals for strop making. That would be nice.

Those fish stealing @%!**%$ are all delinquents. We need to make more seal strops!

Strop already arrived, no nicks, slight crease that will be fine after I condition it.....veeeery high quality strop....I can't wait to strop with it
