Default Dubl Duck Seal Skin Strop

Caught this buy it now on the bay, was 39.99 but made offer for 30 and got it with free shipping, seemed good, love mislabeled auctions.

Interesting, if it is seal skin don't let the PETA people see it.

Sounds like the making of another "club" to join. Isn't it amazing how everyone's first thought when it comes to the word "seal" is bashing one over the head...

Nice acquisition though and a different piece of history. Good on ya!

    Dennis,

Very nice acquisition. I have a side question. That material on the wall is something we use for sophets up here. Can you give anymore detail on the environment. I know. Not a run-of-the-mill question. Please forgive me if I'm being too "nosey".

    kind regards,

    Simon

I've got an alaskan seal strop... I wonder what the marketing gimmick of seal skin was for back in the day.
