    They are beautiful blades, I've got a matched pair of them, in the original case, scaled in ivory, unique shaped blades. Have them honed and they come out once in a while. As I said, unique shaped razor's and I'd say a 1/4 grind, feels a bit like a wedge, but more nimble.

    I also have a matched pair of 5/8 French point in Ivory but no blade etching. One scale is cracked at the wedge, used a little Super Glue to stabilize it. Both are great shavers, as JR&Sons are noted for, clean, smooth, irritation free. I love 'em! Only time a JR&Sons gave me any irritation was when I received a new purchase and forgot to hone it before shaving with it......Ouch!
