    I also would add that I have found in restoring DE's that I don't "need" power tools such as a dremel. It is a bit more work an elbow grease but the chances of rubbing paint or finish off is far less an you can control how much you remove. This is very important with the "gold" techs. Real easy to go to far an then its over. Cant put finish back on. Good luck an make sure to show some pics when your done. I love those old gillettes.
