    I should have kept reading the the complete entry for SRD in razor makers. Turns out SRD was both an importer and a maker STRAZORS.com - all about classic razors - Peter Hahn, S.R.Droescher, Solingen, Germany. . My "guess" is that if it is marked Soligen Germany it was made for them and imported not an SRD razor made in the USA.
