Wow - never ceases to amaze me what people have lying around their homes...would be great to see some more pics of the tang stamp and the blades themselves...awesome score!

They are very nice, to say the least, and unusual. I think I vaguely recall seeing similar scales, maybe in a book on razors ........ dunno, but a real treat those are.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
