Default these two seem to be in good shape

just found these yesterday at the antique shop near my house. they are regularly getting new stock and have a fair amount of razors, but i only buy ones that i find interesting.
11/16 wade and butcher "the clean shaver" wedge
    5/8 gotta 120 "hamburg ring"

from what it looks like, they haven't seen much use... if any. the gotta appears to have no hone wear and no edge. the butcher has an edge, but no hone wear. sadly the horn scales are chipped up around the edges, so i'll have to make replacements.

Great find! I especially like the W&B. From the photos its scales look okay - if I were you (assuming I'm not missing anything) I'd try to salvage them. I love the old horn and it sands and polishes up very nicely in my experience.

    Thanks for sharing.

Two great razors - nice find. Slap an edge on them and give 'em a go.

Yeah nice. I'm also a fan of original horn if it can be salvaged, and the W&B looks good. What blows my mind is the difference camera angle can make in the perspective of blade shape. In the first pic the W&B looks like it has a bit of a Spanish point, and in the second pic it looks to be a square point, yet it is obviously the same razor.

The wade is a particularly fine catch, congrats
Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

Sweet find. You will come to cherish the Hamburg Ring Gotta as they are great shavers.
