Thanked: 59custom made razor and stand
OK, I know this isn't a str8 or even a DE, but it was fun to make. I just kind of made it on the fly, no patterns or real plan in mind. To tell the truth, I wasn't even sure how I was going to make the stand, but it turned out anyways. It was really fun and I like how it is almost all wood. Many of the razor "kits" have done 90% of the work for you. All that is left is to turn a little piece of dowel and put it all together. The razor and stand are made from the same piece of Bocote.

Thanked: 59Thanks all. It was fun to make and the people at the Golden Nib were great to work with. My first head was defective and they promptly shipped me a replacement at no charge. I'm getting quite a selection of razors and may have to start giving them away
