    Default New storage box

Got this nice carved wood box for Fathers Day the other week & finally got around to doing the first modification to it for my str8s storage box.
holds 14 str8s now in the tray, and it is deep enough for another 2 trays of upright str8s or 3 to 4 on their sides, now I just need to work out what to use for them
I forgot to take a photo before I started taping the tray.
I cut the slots in the partition with a dremel then added some foam with V's cut in them to hold the wedges in place.
debating whether to add some felt type material to the cut outs also.

Very nice box, I like it a lot. I have a wood cigar box I am going to convert to a razor box but I need to make dividers for it. I bought some red velvet to put inside it & will have plenty left over if you are interested. I bought like a square yard of it but it looks more like 2 square yards.

Thanks for the offer Steve but all good, I have a similar amount of a crimson coloured velvet I got for my son in-laws razor box I made & have only uses about a 6" square piece so far if that.

Don't make a mistake I made and let the monkey tail into the box edge and closed the box...drat and darn...cracked bone scales!

    That sucks
Doubt & hope I don't do that, but my Monkey tailed Bruno blade is about an inch to long to fit in the same way, so has to be kept in the bottom section,
But it is 1 I need to plan the next tray for so it all fits nice.
