    They are good barber hones and the leather should be cleaned and it makes a good strop.
    Mine came with a later Henckles Twinwerks.
    Always a nice surprise. Another type came with a Torrey!
    Great finds!
    Watch for shoe brushes with a zipper on the upper leather. They often contained full grooming kits.

    The leather has a bad case of dry rot. I just happen to have some horse and it shouldn't be too hard to burnish a piece that big to a fine smooth surface. I have been meaning to get some rosewood and make a wheel. The strop that's on there feels like a nice shell.

    What hell of a deal you got there & the surprise inside was indeed a SURPRISE!!!!! I wish I could find deals like that but I'm never lucky enough to. You made a fantastic score there, I'm so speechless as what more to say. I would have never thought for once in my life it would have had a straight inside!! I've just never thought of such an extraordinary piece like that inside. You definitely have the deal of the day so to say! I don't know what more to say, you got such a great item there, I just have to say that you got a bonus there that is extra special. I'm not gong to say anything else there since there is nothing else to say! You grabbed a deal tat was a once in a lifetime thing & I hope you enjoy it to the fullest!!!
