Thanked: 169Pandevant & Roy Super Ornate Razor
Anyone own one of these? I picked it up today for what I'd call a fair price that gives me some room to bring the blade back up to speed. 6/8. Scales are perfect, amazingly. This style of celluloid is usually a disaster. Anyway, here are some pics. It looks a lot like a bartmann to me, so I suppose question 2 is if anyone has an alternatively branded razor with an identical setup.

Thanked: 169Yeah, to really get this right it would have to go and be reinstated. This was the result of some soapy water followed by a rub down with some soft cloths. It actually removed a lot of the stuff on the immediate surface. I wish I got a more positive result where the gold wash is on the toe and on the toe area of the spine work.

Gorgeous razor, certain to be a prized piece. Scales -- maybe dyed horn? Hard to tell without it being in my hands, check the edges for a little tell-tale delamination.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

The spine section (not the deco) and point are similar as the ones of my almost surely Solingen made G. Caudano.
