Default What a shame. Evvatt Warranted stubby.

One of the razors in that 5 lbs of stuff I got was a stub tail. It was heavily rusted in places. Scales were perfect. Got it apart and started the clean up. Damn shame as it was not used much. Pretty rare maker as well. It's salvageable but it's gonna lose some steel.

It is a shame alright, will be interesting to see the end result. Worst case scenario, you gonna have the coolest wind chime for miles around after you get through that bucket.

I'm pretty sure that is an original grind line. Either way, it's not a crack.

I have one about the same era with a very similar grind line, thought it was a re-grind too but I am now certain it is original.

Looks like an early attempt at a shoulder, a good turn of the century marker Heart-breaking to see that spit on the edge ant front... ouch... I'd be having some serious qualms about grinding on such an old blade, but that snot has to go... but what will be left... Oh I don't envy you your choices... Ouch...
