    Thanks my friend. I like it because I don't think the black ones are as prone to cell rot like the dark green scales, at least I hope not. I will be on the safe side & keep it in a coffin box & away from the rest of my collection.

    I couldn't pass it up even though it didn't look that good in the eBay pic. I was so glad that after just minutes of getting it in the mail, I was able to clean it up just by basically wiping it off!

    Are you sure the scales are Black? Most of them seem to be black but when held up to a light, they are really green.

    I know the green ones you are talking about because they almost look black until held up to a light but these are black. There is no transparency to these scales at all.
