Scales look bone for sure. Fairly common to see carved, inlayed, even pique pin work on bone scales under the first tier of razors.

I thought about going after that one. Then the dishwasher started acting up. My razor money will be going to a new kitchen appliance for a while. LMAO
It's gorgeous old razor and I'm glad it has a nice new home.
I can't tell from the pics if it is bone or ivory, I'm thinking bone. Both are usually very thin. Some good close up pictures will tell the tale.
