Scales look bone for sure. Fairly common to see carved, inlayed, even pique pin work on bone scales under the first tier of razors.

I've had that Theo. A. Koch's Co. for quite a while now. It is special to me because it is a small razor. I like the Pegasus on it. I need to polish it & hone it. i have been getting razors & not honing them. I have plenty of work ahead of me!

    Thanks again Tom

    Enjoy!

I thought about going after that one. Then the dishwasher started acting up. My razor money will be going to a new kitchen appliance for a while. LMAO

It's gorgeous old razor and I'm glad it has a nice new home.

I can't tell from the pics if it is bone or ivory, I'm thinking bone. Both are usually very thin. Some good close up pictures will tell the tale. Either way, it's an awesome old survivor.
