    William L Smith and William Brown Hawksley founded this firm in 1845. Trading as manufacturers of Razors, Pen & Pocket Knifes at 42 Lambert Street in Sheffield.

    Hawksley died in 1864 at the age of 43, and the firm stopped trading.
