Size: 29.6 KBJust received this one in the mail the other day, tryed to search for some info on a possible date and manufacturer info but no luck. Its a small wedge tapers from 3/8 at the heel to just under 4/8 at the toe ,the tang tapers pretty hard after the heel back to the monkey tail. Hoping to do a rescale in honey ox horn with straight scales kind of like seen on some of the old stub tails.

William L Smith and William Brown Hawksley founded this firm in 1845. Trading as manufacturers of Razors, Pen & Pocket Knifes at 42 Lambert Street in Sheffield.

Hawksley died in 1864 at the age of 43, and the firm stopped trading.

Welcome to SRP. Martin is one of our 'resident historian' members. Amazing the info he finds. If you intend to put that to work once you rescale it, you can find members who offer honing at a nominal fee in member services. http://straightrazorpalace.com/class...wcat.php?cat=4
