tell you what mate save you the heart ache, I'll give you the $40 and take them off your hands for you
as they definitely don't look like they will mix well with the rest of your collection
so save the butchers picking on them and glad wrapping them etc like John's (Hilau) poor synthetics when left alone with the badgers
just send me a pm hey for the details when your ready to send them off
ahahahhhahahahahhaha
great scoreSaved,
to shave another day.

You're lucky. I was fully prepared to throw down on that auction but I forgot about it. Good thing too! Congrats!

So did I actually, put a bid in to make sure there wasn't a ton of auto-bids, and planned to wait, then got tied up in a conference call, looked at the time an figured I screwed the pooch...couldn't believe it when my last bid won, some days you get the bear, and some day's he gets you. And looking at the Geneva Cutlery razor, actually looks like a nice blade.

Dew Pews wasn't the only one who made blades with long monkey tails. I've seen Joseph Rogers and sons too, maybe others. That looks like a De Pews though. Nice score whatever it is.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

After a couple of hours soaking in some Evapo Rust and ten minutes of light sanding, managed to get some of the dirt and gunk off the De Pews, some more sanding and polishing and then onto the stones.
