    Thanks - the Evapo Rust is great stuff, after that light sanding, back in for another soak for a few hours, rinse, some more sanding, and see if it needs another wash.

    I'm going to have to look around the local hardware stores for Evapo Rust.

    I know that despite its warp carl is rather fond of his De pews. I would say that you did good.

    If it is what you wanted and it makes you happy then it was cheap and any price. Price is only relative to how you feel .

    Agreed - if it's something you like, and you pay for it, all is fine.

    The title of the post though, was a bit tongue in cheek, the De Pews is a very nice, somewhat sought after razor (not that the Geneva Cutlery isn't a great blade as well), but to get them both, especially a De Pews for that price was a pretty lucky find IMO...so it was a bit of humour in the title
