I forgot he did send the roughed out horn for the scales. The plan is to have the white horn up against the ebony tang.Hope these work!

Update
My choice for scales isn't going to work. The horn had a seam and separated. Mr Zowada pre warned me that this might happen.
So, off on a new scale material search. Looking it at Ivory or a Shokwood.It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.
